Policies & Guidelines

COW PALACE MANAGEMENT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOST, STOLEN, DAMAGED ITEMS OR ITEMS LEFT BEHIND.

This venue policy is at the discretion of the Cow Palace Management for anything that is deemed dangerous, inappropriate, vulgar, offensive or disruptive to other fans enjoyment of the event.
This policy is subject to change for specific shows. Please check the Events Page for more details on photography policy. Please note all items may not be listed and will be at the discretion of Management, event security or law enforcement at event entrance.

REFUSAL OF ANY GUEST TO COOPERATE WILL RESULT IN NON-ADMITTANCE INTO THE COW PALACE

Any bags that are brought inside must be in compliance with our bag policy. Bags that are not in compliance must be returned to the patron’s vehicles or discarded.

Any unlawful items are subject to confiscation and the person in possession of such items is subject to arrest.

For all events held at the Cow Palace Arena & Event Center, the following items are prohibited:

PHOTOGRAPHY / RECORDING DEVICES

No professional/commercial photography is allowed
Personal “point and shoot” and phone cameras are allowed
Cameras with detachable lenses are prohibited

DRONES

The operation of drones, unmanned aircraft, and remote controlled aircraft anywhere on, around, or over the premises is strictly prohibited without the advanced written consent of the Cow Palace.
Violators may be subject to civil and criminal penalties.

STROLLERS

Strollers are not allowed in the Main Arena for seated shows
Before entering the Main Arena, please check in all strollers at the Guest Services Offices located in the Main Lobby

PROHIBITED ITEMS

NO Aerosol products of any type
NO Artificial noisemakers or air horns
NO Balls, Frisbees or Projectiles (including inflatables)
NO Cans, cups or coolers
NO Chairs/seats
NO Costumes that resemble public safety uniforms (Police, SWAT, Fire, Security or Medical) in any way
NO Drones/remote-controlled aircraft or toys
NO Drugs or drug paraphernalia
NO E-Liquid or E-juice of any kind
NO Fireworks or other combustible devices
NO Flags, banners or signs (signs must be smaller than 8 ½” X 11”)
NO Glass of any kind
NO Helium balloons
NO Illegal substances
NO Large bags, totes or backpacks (SEE APPROVED BAGS BELOW)
NO Laser pointers
NO Leaflets, handbills, flyers or posters
NO Markers, pens or spray paint
NO Outside Food or beverages (including alcohol and water)
NO Over-The-Counter medication
NO Pets (SERVICE ANIMALS ONLY)
NO Professional photo, video or audio recording equipment (no detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms, iPads, Gimbals, Go-Pros or commercial-use rigs)
NO Radios, walkie talkies or boom boxes
NO Roller skates, roller blades, bikes, scooters or skateboards
NO Soliciting, canvassing or flyering
NO Sticks/poles, totems or selfie sticks
NO Stickers or flyers
NO Toy Guns, water guns or slingshots
NO Umbrellas or chairs any kind
NO Weapons of any kind (includes pocket knives, pepper spray, firearms, fireworks, etc.)
ANY item deemed by Management to be dangerous, inappropriate, offensive or disruptive to other fans enjoyment of the event

APPROVED BAGS

(All bags are to be searched by Event security upon entry):

Bags may on be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC (sized 12” X 6” X 12” or smaller)
Camel packs (sized 12” X 6” X 12” or smaller) with (1) zipper
Small clutch with shoulder strap (sized 5” X 8” or smaller)
Small clutch with wrist strap (sized 5” X 8” or smaller)
One gallon plastic storage bag
Diaper Bag (sized 12” X 6” X 12” or smaller)
