Sponsorship Opportunities

Grand National

Support the Grand National Rodeo by sponsoring a rodeo event, or the production in general. Sponsorship dollars help keep ticket prices low so the rodeo can remain accessible to many. There are many promotional benefits for sponsors. Download our sponsorship packet to learn more.

Jr. Livestock Show

The Junior Livestock Show is considered a “jackpot” show. A “jackpot” show is one where exhibitors win prize money for their animals instead of earning money by participating in an auction. Last year we awarded $126,670 in prize money directly to the junior exhibitors as well as championship banners and buckles. Although the Grand National Rodeo strives to become self-sufficient, the Junior Livestock Show relies heavily upon sponsorships and donations to assist with this program. Download the Jr. Livestock Sponsorship brochure to find out how you can support this important youth program.

Women of Rodeo

Women’s rodeo is growing across the country, but women’s rodeo sports have not completely achieved the ranks of equal prize money when compared to the men’s events. Sponsors can help change this and support the growth of Women in Rodeo. Sponsor benefits include named competitions, promotional exposure, and tickets. Download the Women of Rodeo sponsorship packet for details.

Vendor Opportunities

There are vendor opportunities at the Grand National Rodeo, Women of Rodeo, and Fiesta del Charro.

We strive to create a fun and varied shopping experience for our guests. Western themed merchants, crafts people, and artists are welcome to apply. Space is limited and Cow Palace staff provides final approval. For more information contact Mala Gurbuxani at

Friends of the Cow Palace

Our partner in charitable giving and historical preservation

Volunteer Opportunities

Golden Circle of Champions

The Cow Palace is a Golden Circle of Champions rodeo. The program was started at the Santa Maria Elks Rodeo in 2016 to raise money for children fighting cancer. Many rodeos have joined the family of Golden Circle Rodeos to raise money in their local communities for juvenile cancer and treat young cancer patients to a night at the rodeo. The Cow Palace and Grand National Rodeo raise funds for the UC Benioff Children’s Hospital program, Children’s Life Services. Volunteers are needed at each Grand National Rodeo performance to “pass the hat” in the arena and host an information table in the lobby.

Reading Rodeo

The Cow Palace supports both children’s literacy and ag education with our Reading Rodeo program. Volunteers help by collecting donations of children’s books about farming, agriculture, ranching, farm animals, ag technology, and environmental science. Every child who attends the rodeo receives a free book of their choosing. Volunteers also help by setting up, monitoring, and cleaning up the book table each night of the rodeo.

Steel in Teal

Ovarian cancer has touched the Cow Palace family, and to honor those fighting and those we have lost, we raise money to support the Teal Foundation at Women of Rodeo. Volunteers are needed to pass the bucket during the performance and host the information table in the lobby.
