The Miss Grand National Contest is held annually to select a young lady who has the desire and enthusiasm to serve as a good-will ambassador for the sport of rodeo and the community.

WHO IS MISS GRAND NATIONAL RODEO?

Miss Grand National Rodeo is a young lady, who wishes to promote the sport of rodeo, and in doing so, promotes the great Western way of life. She is the ideal Western type American girl who has an appealing appearance, a congenial personality and knowledge of the equine industry, our community, and the sport of rodeo.

Your newly crowned Miss Grand National Queen is Trinity Karschner.

Trinity is a 19-year-old resident of Plymouth, CA and the oldest sibling of six; she currently is going to school for equine massage therapy and dreams of one day owning her own rehab facility for horses! During her free time, you can find Trinity either at a horse show or rodeo; horses have been a huge part of her life and she is looking forward to the next year, representing not only the Grand National Rodeo but also the Cow Palace Arena & Event Center!

If you happen to see Trinity at any upcoming Rodeos or parades, be sure to say "Howdy" and congratulate her for being the 2020 Miss Grand National Queen.

Hello Rodeo Fans! My name is Michelle Hewitt and I am the twenty-two year old daughter of Darrel and Beth Hewitt and I proudly reside in the windy city of Tracy on my family's ranch. Currently, I am a pre-vet student, majoring in Animal Science and will be a transfer student from San Joaquin Delta College of Fresno State University in the Fall of 2019 for their pre-veterinary program. After I finish my undergraduate work at Fresno State University with a Bachelors in Animal Science, I will transfer to Oklahoma State University where I will obtain my Doctors of veterinary medicine for large animals specializing in equine medicine.

When not in class, you can find me spending time out riding one of my three American Quarter Horses who are named Sheldon, Gracie and Dixie, or I will be at the show barn riding my beautiful palomino AQHA reining horse named Odin. Together Odin and I compete throughout the year in NRHA and West coast Reining Horse Association horse shows! One day I hope to successfully compete at the NRHA futurity held annually in Oklahoma city.

Aside from school, competing at horse show and traveling the rodeo road, I enjoy the outdoors, relaxing with my three dogs and spending tiem with my Friends and Family. I am beyond humbled and honored to represent now only the Grand National Rodeo but also the iconic Cow Palace throughout my reign as your 2019 Miss Grand National Queen. I hope to see each and every one of you in October at the 73rd Grand National Livestock Expo, Horse Show and Rodeo (Oct. 11 - 12 & 18 - 19, 2019).
